Fresh & Pleasing Taste!
This olive oil coats the mouth and will deliver flavor well. It is slightly bitter and peppery which is a sign of fresh olives. I would say it is more fruity/floral than grassy in flavor. It is marked with the date it was made and mine was well under a year old, this is important as many off the shelf olive oils are over a year old and rancid. Being so fresh there was no hint of that with this oil. It comes in a dark bottle which is important for reducing light exposure and keeping the oil fresh. I've used this olive oil for multiple things, mostly pasta sauces, but one of my favorite things is to get some fresh tomatoes from the farmers market and cut them into slices, then drizzle with this olive oil and add some finishing salt and fresh ground pepper. It's a very tasty olive oil!
